Jonteknik is the alias of Jon Russell, an accomplished electronic musician and producer, a protege of Pascal Gabriel and whose supporters include no less a luminary as Kraftwerk's Karl Bartos. Russell has worked with Paul Humphreys and Claudia Brücken on their Onetwo project, and recently found himself remixing the rehabilitated OMD's 'Metroland' single. Jon's contribution to MuteResponse is 'Vincent', a tribute to Erasure's Vince Clarke, even going so far as to painstakingly use the same Prophet 5 choir patch that Clarke used on 'Phantom Bride' from The Innocents. His most recent album, The Satellites Of Substance, was released in September 2013.
