With styles ranging from ambient through to the dirty stomp of industrial, Simplicity Is Beauty's Jason Courtney cites an array of influences encompassing everything from early Eighties radio hits, EBM, punk, goth and the sharper end of dance music. Early experiments with rudimentary sampling on a Casio SK1 keyboard received for Christmas 1985 would ultimately lead to Courtney more recently switching to laptop and since then Simplicity Is Beauty has released tracks on Heavy Reel and The Public Stand, while 'I Am Colossus' was remixed by no less a techno luminary than the legendary Dave Clarke. The Fragments EP was released on Wolfskull in July 2013.
