Originally a duo of Adrian Morris and Angela Penhaligon (better known as Piney Gir), Vic Twenty's idiosyncratic take on classic synth pop led them to a coveted support slot on the second half of Erasure's 2003 UK tour, and Mute's Daniel Miller set up the Credible Sexy Units label for the sole purpose of releasing Vic Twenty's wry 'Text Message' single. After Piney Gir had left the group to start a successful solo career, Morris would go on to release the bittersweet single 'I Sold Your Heart On eBay' and the album Electrostalinist (T-Square, 2004). 'Christmas In Korea (New Year In Japan)', a short slice of impossibly upbeat electronic pop heaven, was recorded by Morris and Penhaligon in the early days of their musical partnership and has never been officially released.
